We help people get busy.
No, not like that. FindJive is a mobile application platform that connects people with the activities that shape their lives—things like concerts, parties, theatrical events, restaurants and more. Built upon a mosaic design that allows users to discover events and share them with their friends across Facebook, Twitter, text messages, and email, FindJive is the first place people look when they want to find something to do.
FindJive Platform is our state-of-the-art content management system that allows enterprise-level marketers and content creators to create, edit, and publish real-time events to dedicated and enthusiastic audiences. This comprehensive system, built upon Ruby on Rails, works perfectly with custom branded web and mobile applications that create devoted followers and brand enthusiasts.
Together, FindJive and the FindJive Platform help people connect with one another and the businesses that mean something to them. We believe that only boring people get bored, and FindJive users are never boring people.
We’re not as square as we used to be.
Founded in 2011, we used to be known as SquareJive, based on the fact that our interface is made up of action-packed little squares. We changed our name to FindJive to reflect the idea that helped us create the app—that users shouldn’t have to scour multiple websites and blogs to find fun events. They should just be able to find them, simply.
Our goal is still the same: to help people discover what’s going on around them, and to share it with friends. What started out as a simple website has grown into a full-featured mobile app, tailored to each user’s location and preferences.
We’ve picked up some awards along the way, including a finalist position at 2012 Powder Keg conference, a spot at the 2012 Innovation Showcase, over $175,000 in seed capital, and the opportunity to participate in the 2012 & 2013 Eli Lilly Small Business Internship Program. We are proud to have featured over 15,000 events since starting. These events have been submitted by users, discovered by data aggregates, recommended by local partner venues, and incorporated from ticket vendor TicketFly.com.
We work hard to earn the trust and enthusiasm of our users. In return, we hope to be the first place people look when they want to get out and go do.
